Holy Qur’an 3:200 يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنُوا اصبِروا وَصابِروا وَرابِطوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّـهَ لَعَلَّكُم تُفلِحونَ O you who believe! Persevere in patience and constancy. Vie in such perseverance, strengthen each other and be regardful of Allah that ye may prosper.

His exceptional leadership over the last 36 years has served as a building block for a strong, vibrant, progressive Muslim community that is seen as a beacon to others across America.

Holy Qur’an 49:13
يا أَيُّهَا النّاسُ إِنّا خَلَقناكُم مِن ذَكَرٍ وَأُنثى وَجَعَلناكُم شُعوبًا وَقَبائِلَ لِتَعارَفوا إِنَّ أَكرَمَكُم عِندَ اللَّـهِ أَتقاكُم إِنَّ اللَّـهَ عَليمٌ خَبيرٌ

O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).

يبَنى إِسرءيلَ اذكُروا نِعمَتِىَ الَّتى أَنعَمتُ عَلَيكُم وَأَوفوا بِعَهدى أوفِ بِعَهدِكُم وَإِيّىَ فَارهَبونِ

O Children of Israel! Call to mind the (special) favor which I bestowed upon you, and fulfill your covenant with Me as I fulfill My Covenant with you and fear none but Me.

ن أَنفُسِكُم أَزواجًا لِتَسكُنوا إِلَيها وَجَعَلَ بَينَكُم مَوَدَّةً وَرَحمَةً إِنَّ في ذلِكَ لَآياتٍ لِقَومٍ يَتَفَكَّرونَ

Among His proofs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves, in order to have tranquility and contentment with each other, and He placed in your hearts love and care towards your spouses. In this, there are sufficient proofs for people who think.
